    Two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Territory

    A Territory couple who disembarked from the Ruby Princess cruise ship in Sydney and flew to Darwin tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) today.

    This brings the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in the NT to five in total.

    Two people have today tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in the NT to three in total.

    20th March Prime Minister’s Media Statement

    The Prime Minister, state and territory Premiers and Chief Ministers met today for the National Cabinet and agreed to further actions to protect the Australian community from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

    A 2nd case has been confirmed in the NT.

    The Director Centre Disease Control in Darwin has just advised that a second case of coronavirus has been confirmed. The male, who returned from overseas in the last 48 hours, followed protocol and immediately went into self-isolation. Health authorities are contacting those who were in close contact during the flight.
