A new coronavirus is causing a respiratory infection known as COVID-19 around the world and in B.C. The province is working to break the chains of transmission.

Case counts are based on available information and are subject to change.  

British Columbia

  • 424 confirmed cases as of 3PM March 21, 2020. 
    • Six recovered in BC
    • 10 deaths in BC
    • Cases by region:
      • 126 in Fraser Health
      • 27 in Interior Health
      • 37 in Island Health
      • 4 in Northern Health
      • 230 in Vancouver Coastal Health
  • 17,912 tests complete as of March 20, 2020.
