Cases and Risk of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan

Summary

As of April 3, there are fourteen (14) new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 220 reported cases of COVID‐19 in Saskatchewan.

  • 220 cases are confirmed and no (0) cases are presumptive
  • Four (4) of the cases were tested in out-of-province laboratories over the past few weeks. This inclusion is part of routine surveillance case counting processes.
  • Six (6) of the cases are individuals in the zero to 19-year-old category; all others are adults, with 55% of the cases are males and 45% are females
  • 102 of cases are travel-related, 52 are either contacts or linked to a mass gathering event, 10 have no known exposures and 56 are under investigation by local public health
  • A total of three (3) individuals are hospitalized; including two (2) inpatient hospitalizations and one (1) in ICU hospitalizations
  • Three (3) Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died
  • A total of forty-eight (48) individuals have recovered
  • To date, 12,112 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan
