8 deaths and 6,888 cases confirmed:
- the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been informed of 8 additional deaths among people with COVID-19 in Ireland
- there have been 2,344 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland
- 6,888 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed
- there have now been 147,613 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland
- as of 2pm today (Sunday), 1,452 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 125 are in ICU. There have been 100 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours
