55 deaths and 827 cases confirmed:
- the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been informed of 55 additional deaths among people with COVID-19 in Ireland. 36 of these deaths occurred in February, 18 of these in occurred in January, and the date of 1 death remains under investigation
- there have been 3,674 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland
- 827 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed
- there have now been 202,548 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland
- as of 2pm today (Saturday), 1,177 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 177 are in ICU. There have been 29 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours
