Questo il quadro riepilogativo della situazione nell'Isola, aggiornato alle ore 16 di oggi (domenica 12 aprile), in merito all'emergenza Coronavirus, così come comunicato dalla Regione Siciliana all'Unità di crisi nazionale. This is the summary of the situation on the Island, updated at 4 pm today (Sunday 12 April), regarding the Coronavirus emergency, as communicated by the Sicilian Region to the National Crisis Unit.

Dall'inizio dei controlli, i tamponi effettuati sono stati 36.098 (+2.311 rispetto a ieri). Since the start of the checks, the swabs carried out were 36,098 (+2,311 compared to yesterday).
Di questi sono risultati positivi 2.416 (+52), mentre, attualmente, sono ancora contagiate 2.030 persone (+29), 223 sono guarite (+14) e 163 decedute (+9). Of these, 2,416 (+52) tested positive, while 2,030 people (+29) are still infected, 223 have recovered (+14) and 163 died (+9).

Degli attuali 2.030 positivi, 605 pazienti (-15) sono ricoverati - di cui 53 in terapia intensiva (-5) - mentre 1.425 (+44) sono in isolamento domiciliare. Of the current 2,030 positives, 605 patients (-15) are hospitalized - of which 53 in intensive care (-5) - while 1,425 (+44) are in home isolation.
