Highlights

  • On the 23rd of March 2021, 214 new confirmed cases and 1 death was recorded in Nigeria
  • Till date, 162076 cases have been confirmed, 148530 cases have been discharged and 2031 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
  • The 214 new cases are reported from 12 states- Adamawa (109), Lagos (33), Bauchi (26), Kaduna (9), Rivers (9), FCT (7), Oyo (7), Gombe (5), Ebonyi (4), Osun (3), Ekiti (1), and Ogun (1)
  • A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities
