Highlights

  • On the 19th of April 2021, 70 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria
  • Till date, 164303 cases have been confirmed, 154384 cases have been discharged and 2061 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
  • The 70 new cases are reported from 5 states- Lagos (27), Kaduna (16), Ondo (16), Yobe (6), and Bauchi (5)
  • A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
