As of 13 April 2020, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed an additional 386 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

Among the cases:

  • 0 imported
  • 280 are linked to known clusters, of which the vast majority are Work Permit holders in the dormitories 
  • 12 are linked to other cases, of which 7 are Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents and five are Work Permit holders
  • 94 are pending contact tracing, of which 21 are Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents, five are S Pass holders, 64 are Work Permit holders, and the rest are Long Term Pass holders.

26 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. Of the 1,158 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving. 29 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

1,165 cases who are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19 are isolated and cared for at community facilities.

Another death due to COVID-19

A 65 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 13 April 2020 afternoon. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 9 April. Khoo Teck Puat Hospital has reached out to his family and is extending assistance to them.

In all, 9 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
