Results about the new Coronavirus in Timor-Leste

Odete da Silva Viegas, Director General of Health Services and spokesperson for the Integrated Crisis Management Centre (CIGC), today, April 8, 2020, released the results recorded so far in Timor-Leste, related to the new coronavirus, at a press conference held at the Dili Convention Center.

So far, there have been a total of 168 suspected cases, of which 111 have been negative and 53 are still waiting for the test result.

There are four confirmed positive cases, two more than yesterday, and one patient recovered.

There are a total of 643 people in quarantine, 637 of whom are in mandatory confinement places set up by the Government and 6 are quarantined at home.

1261 people have already completed the 14-day quarantine period.
