Seit 26.1.2020 ( Verordnung ) ist das neuartige Corona-Virus in Österreich bei Verdacht, Erkrankung und Tod nach dem Epidemiegesetz 1958 ( Gesetz ) meldepflichtig. Since January 26, 2020 ( regulation ), the novel corona virus in Austria has to be reported in the event of suspicion, illness and death according to the 1958 Epidemic Act ( Act ).

Erstanzeige nach dem Epidemiegesetz (Verdacht, Erkrankung, Tod) binnen 24 Stunden an die Bezirksverwaltungsbehörde auch wenn die Meldung bereits telefonisch oder mündlich erfolgte. Initial notification under the Epidemic Act (suspicion, illness, death) to the district administrative authority within 24 hours, even if the notification has already been made by telephone or orally.

Schlussanzeige nach dem Epidemiegesetz (Krankenhausaufnahme, Entlassung, neuer Wohnsitz) an die Bezirksverwaltungsbehörde. Final notification according to the epidemic law (hospital admission, discharge, new residence) to the district administrative authority.
