Health Protection Act Order
To slow the spread of COVID-19, an order is in effect under the Health Protection Act.
- Practise social distancing – stay 2 metres (6 feet) apart from other people.
- Immediately self-isolate for 14 days if you’ve returned from outside Nova Scotia.
- Certain businesses need to close or reduce their operations.
What the Health Protection Act Order means for you
State of emergency
Government has declared a provincial state of emergency. The state of emergency is in effect until noon on 19 April and can be renewed.
