Advisory - Coronavirus Infection
Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer is in close contact with PEI’s Chief Public Health Office to monitor, rapidly identify and manage any cases of COVID-19 occurring in Canada in order to protect the health of Canadians.
The Public Health Agency of Canada is also working with all provinces and territories, and its international partners, including the World Health Organization, to actively monitor the situation.
Prince Edward Island Risk Level
There are no cases of COVID-19 in Prince Edward Island Island and the overall risk to Islanders remains low at this time.

Prince Edward Island residents are encouraged to visit Coronavirus infection Frequently Asked Questions to learn about risks and precautions. Public health risk is continually reassessed and updated as new information becomes available.
For travellers
- Islanders travelling outside of Canada advised to take precautions and closely monitor health for 14 days after returning home
