Daily COVID-19 statistics for the Cayman Islands
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 219 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Monday, 1 February 2021. Two were positive. The individuals are asymptomatic travellers who tested positive following routine screening. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered. The total number of COVID-19 vaccines administered to date is 10,062, of which 2,339 represent an individual’s second dose. Read more
For symptomatic patients:
10 days after symptom onset, plus at least 3 additional days without symptoms (including without fever and without respiratory symptoms). Persons will then be retested and must obtain two negative tests 24 hours apart.
For asymptomatic cases:
10 days after positive test for COVID-19. Persons will be then be retested and must obtain two negative tests 24 hours apart.
