As of 12 February, 43 cases have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK.

Sixteen cases in Germany (two imported, 14 locally-acquired), eleven cases in France (six imported, five locally-acquired), eight cases in the United Kingdom (seven imported, one locally-acquired), three cases in Italy (three imported), two cases in Spain (two imported), one case in Belgium (imported), one case in Finland (imported), and one case in Sweden (imported).

Weekly threats reports (CDTR)

The ECDC Communicable disease threats reports are a weekly summary of all information gathered through epidemic intelligence activities regarding communicable diseases of concern to the EU. It also provides updates on the global situation and changes in the epidemiology of communicable diseases with potential to affect Europe. Diseases that are the focus of eradication efforts are also included.
