As of 16 March 2020, 51 771 cases have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK: Italy (23 980), Spain (7 753), France (5 423), Germany (4 838), United Kingdom (1 391), Netherlands (1 135), Norway (1 077), Sweden (1 032), Belgium (886), Denmark (875), Austria (860), Greece (331), Czech Republic (298), Finland (267), Portugal (245), Slovenia (219), Iceland (178), Estonia (171), Ireland (169), Romania (139), Poland (125), Luxembourg (77), Slovakia (61), Bulgaria (51), Croatia (48), Hungary (39), Latvia (31), Cyprus (30), Malta (21), Lithuania (14) and Liechtenstein (7).

As of 16 March 2020, 2 316 deaths have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK: Italy (1 811), Spain (288), France (127), United Kingdom (35), Netherlands (20), Germany (12), Belgium (4), Greece (4), Poland (3), Sweden (3), Bulgaria (2), Ireland (2), Austria (1), Denmark (1), Hungary (1), Luxembourg (1) and Norway (1).
