As of 15 September 2020, 2 641 450 cases have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK: Spain (593 730), France (387 252), United Kingdom (371 125), Italy (288 761), Germany (261 762), Romania (104 187), Belgium (94 212), Sweden (86 505), Netherlands (83 321), Poland (74 529), Portugal (64 596), Czechia (37 222), Austria (33 884), Ireland (31 192), Denmark (19 800), Bulgaria (18 061), Croatia (13 598), Greece (13 420), Hungary (13 153), Norway (12 155), Finland (8 627), Luxembourg (7 244), Slovakia (5 580), Slovenia (3 755), Lithuania (3 386), Estonia (2 698), Malta (2 405), Iceland (2 168), Cyprus (1 534), Latvia (1 477) and Liechtenstein (111).

As of 15 September 2020, 184 380 deaths have been reported in the EU/EEA and the UK: United Kingdom (41 637), Italy (35 624), France (30 950), Spain (29 848), Belgium (9 927), Germany (9 362), Netherlands (6 247), Sweden (5 846), Romania (4 185), Poland (2 203), Portugal (1 871), Ireland (1 784), Austria (757), Bulgaria (730), Hungary (642), Denmark (633), Czechia (465), Finland (339), Greece (310), Norway (265), Croatia (227), Slovenia (131), Luxembourg (124), Lithuania (87), Estonia (64), Slovakia (38), Latvia (35), Cyprus (22), Malta (16), Iceland (10) and Liechtenstein (1).

*From end of August 2020, Swedish authorities are performing daily data consolidation leading to data retro-corrections. From week 38, the Swedish Public Health Agency will update COVID-19 daily data four times per week on Tuesday–Friday. This can result in a decrease of cumulative figures (cases or deaths) and related outputs. 

*On 28 August 2020, Cyprus reported less cases resulting in a negative number. Data will be updated as soon as it is made available.

As of 24 August 2020, Authorities in Luxembourg report COVID-19 cases and deaths from their resident population only. Therefore, the difference with the figure from 27 August is translated into a negative value for the cases and deaths reported on 28 August 2020

From 24 August, Monaco only reported figures among residents resulting in a drop in cases and deaths.

Disclaimer: Despite recent new cases reported at the national level in Luxembourg and Sweden, recent changes in reporting in have led to a retrospective reduction in case numbers in some regions, resulting in their being shown in blue on the map.
