新型コロナウイルスに関連した患者の死亡について About death of patient associated with new coronavirus
本日（２月28日）、和歌山県より、今般の新型コロナウイルスに関連し、死亡した症例の報告がありました。 Today (February 28), Wakayama Prefecture reported a fatal case related to this new type of coronavirus. お亡くなりになった方の御冥福をお祈り申し上げます。 I pray for the soul of the deceased.
なお、発表に関する御遺族のご承諾が得られた範囲での情報提供とさせていただきます。 Information will be provided only to the extent that the consent of the bereaved family regarding the presentation has been obtained. 報道に際しては、お亡くなりになった方及び御遺族のプライバシーに十分配慮していただくようお願いします。 When reporting, please give due consideration to the privacy of the deceased and the bereaved.
本件について、濃厚接触者の把握を含めた積極的疫学調査を確実に行ってまいります。 We will carry out proactive epidemiological investigations on this matter, including the identification of close contacts.
概要（国内死亡５例目） Overview (5th domestic death)
（１）年代：70代（国内31例目） (1) Age: 70s (31st in Japan)
（２）性別：男性（３）居住地：和歌山県（４）死因：新型コロナウイルス肺炎、急性腎障害（５）経過２月１日 感冒症状、嘔吐出現。 (2) Gender: Male (3) Place of residence: Wakayama Prefecture (4) Cause of death: New type coronavirus pneumonia, acute renal injury (5) Progress on February 1 Cold symptoms and vomiting appeared.
２月５日 発熱。 February 5 fever.
２月６日 県内医療機関Aを受診、入院。 February 6 He visited the prefecture medical institution A and was hospitalized.
２月13日 県内医療機関Bへ転院。 February 13 Transferred to prefectural medical institution B. 気管内挿管、人工呼吸器管理開始。 Intratracheal intubation and ventilator management started.
ＰＣＲ検査で陽性判明。 Positive by PCR test.
２月21日 ＰＣＲ検査1回目陰性。 February 21 First negative PCR test.
２月24日 ＰＣＲ検査2回目陰性。 February 24 Second negative PCR test.
２月26日 呼吸状態悪化。 February 26 Respiratory condition worsened.
２月28日 死亡確認。 February 28 Death confirmed.
