The Updates of COVID-19 in Republic of Korea
5 July, 2020
□ As of 0:00, 5 July 2020, the total number of confirmed cases is 13,091 (including 1,666 imported cases), of which 11,832 cases have been discharged from isolation. There are 43 new local cases and 18 new imported cases.

□ The current state* of major local clusters as of today (as of 12:00, 5 July) are as follows:
* The specific figures below may differ from the daily reported statistics (which are based on figures as of 0:00 today) or figures disclosed by local municipalities due to factors such as report timing and differences in the time period considered
○ Related to Wangsung Church in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, 1 additional case was confirmed while in self-isolation. In total, 35* cases have been confirmed.
* Seoul = 27; Gyeonggi = 8
○ Related to the apartment complex in Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi Province, 3 additional people related to the fitness center visited by a resident were confirmed. The new cases were family/acquaintances of fitness center case. In total, 28* cases have been confirmed.
* 1 index case and 1 family member; 7 residents of the same building; 19 related to fitness center
○ Related to church member gathering in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province, 2 additional cases(acquaintance of church member) were confirmed. In total, 13 cases have been confirmed.
○ Related to The Joeun Clinic in Seo-gu, Daejeon City, 2 staff and 1 family member were additionally confirmed. In total, 9 cases have been confirmed.
○ Related to Gwangneuksa Temple in Gwangju City, 13 additional cases were confirmed. In total, 80* cases have been confirmed. The new cases are related to Geumyang Building (4) and Ilgok Central Church (9). Since epidemiological link was found between the first case at Ilgok Central Church and the confirmed case(visitor) at Geumyang Building, cases from Ilgok Central Church were re-classified as Gwangenuksa Temple cluster.
