Over the past 24 hours, 261 patients have recovered and been discharged with a laboratory and clinically-epidemiologically confirmed COVID diagnosis, including 134 patients in Bishkek, 1 in Osh city, 13 in Chui oblast, 6 in Osh oblast, 4 in Talas oblast, 1 in Naryn oblast, 52 in Issyk-Kul oblast, 26 in Jalal-Abad oblast, and 24 in Batken oblast.
Over the entire period, a total of 38,459 patients recovered.

New cases
As of August 31, 2020, a total of 78 new cases with a laboratory and clinically-epidemiologically confirmed COVID diagnosis were registered in the Republic during the day. Of these, 18 cases are in Bishkek, 1 in Osh city, 10 in Chui oblast, 6 in Osh oblast, 2 in Talas oblast, 4 in Naryn oblast, 14 in Issyk – Kul oblast, 11 in Jalal – Abad oblast, and 12 in Batken oblast.
During the entire period, a total of 43,898 cases were registered, of which 18,765 cases were laboratory-confirmed, and 25,133 cases were clinically and epidemiologically confirmed.

Under treatment
To date in the Republic 715 patients are under inpatient treatment, and 4818 patients are on outpatient treatment.
Hospitalized: in Bishkek 162 patients, Osh city 19, in Chui oblast 53, in Osh oblast 100, in Talas oblast 41, in Naryn oblast 23, in Issyk-Kul oblast 106, in Jalal-Abad oblast 121, and in Batken oblast 90 patients.
Outpatient (at home) treatment is provided for the following patients with a laboratory and clinically-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis: in Bishkek 2669, Osh city 362, in Chui oblast 451, in Osh oblast 613, in Talas oblast 2, in Naryn oblast 49, in Issyk-Kul oblast 282, in Jalal-Abad oblast 232, and in Batken oblast 158 patients.
Deaths
No deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 1,059 deaths were registered in the Republic, including 264 laboratory-confirmed cases and 795 clinically- epidemiologically confirmed cases.
Health workers
2 new cases of COVID-19 were registered among health workers during the day; it was in Jalal-Abad oblast. The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3133 cases. During the day, 5 health workers were discharged from hospitals with recovery. 13 health workers were discharged from home self- isolation. In total, 2,471 health workers recovered in the Republic.
