By April 15, 19 new COVID-19 infection cases were detected, including 14 cases in women and 5 in men:

As of today, total of 449 Coronavirus infection cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan:

Osh region - 130

Issyk-kul region - 6.
Of the registered positive cases - 244 are women and 205 – men:
1. Children under the age of 15 – 40 cases
2. Of these, under one year of age- 3
3. 16 – 19 yrs- 12
4. 20 - 35 yrs- 109
5. 35 - 55 yrs- 173
6. 55 yrs and older - 115
Today 15 health workers were tested COVID-19 positive:
- Bishkek City - 3
- Osh region - 2
-Osh City -10
The total number of health workers, diagnosed with COVID-19 is 98.
“Internal investigation is being carried out with engagement of epidemiologists in the area Infection Control. COVID-19 has a very high contagiousness (infection rate). Since doctors work in close contact with the infected patients, they are more exposed to infection. We are taking measures for their safety. Today, borders are open and humanitarian aid began to flow in the form of personal protective equipment. As soon as the cargo arrives, we immediately send it to health care organizations, managing the infected patients”, said Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev.
As of today total of 366 people are being treated in hospitals across the country, including 11 in serious condition, 7 of them are in intensive care unit. The condition of the remaining patients with COVID-19 is assessed as moderately serious or satisfactory.
Today 7 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals: 2 patients from the Osh Interregional Merged Clinical Hospital and 5 in Bishkek with negative test results upon discharge.
To date, 78 people have recovered:
Bishkek city - 11
Jalal-Abad region - 41
Batken region - 1
Osh region – 25.
Number of samples received for testing - 28222 (since April 5)
Total Number of tests performed - 27033
Number of tests performed during the day - 981
The number of contacts with COVID-19 laboratory confirmed patients – is 7455 (number of contacts may vary subject to epidemiological investigations):
- Close Contacts (I Category) - 1528
- Other contacts (II Category) - 5977
As of today, 902 people are under medical observation in Kyrgyzstan.
