Epidemiological Situation with COVID -19 in Kyrgyzstan as of April 21

As of April 21, 2020, 22 new COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered in the republic - 10 in women, 12 in men:   

Osh region - cases,  

Osh City - cases,  

Naryn region - cases,  

Bishkek City - 8 cases.    

On April 21 total of 590 confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered In Kyrgyzstan:

Jalal-Abad region - 105,  

Osh region - 150

Osh City - 93, 

Chui region - 32

Bishkek City – 123, 

Batken region - 6, 

Naryn region - 73, 

Issyk-Kul region - 8. 

Of the registered positive cases - 321 are women, 269 - men.

Today 7 COVID-19 confirmed  cases are registered in medical personnel:  

Osh region - 2, 

Osh City - 2, 

Bishkek City- 3. 

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 147 cases.    

Total of 367 patients with confirmed COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals of the republic, 12 of them are in serious condition, including 5 in intensive care units. The condition of the remaining patients is assessed as moderate or satisfactory.

Today, 15 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals in the republic with negative test results upon discharge:  

Bishkek City- 4

Naryn region - 1

Osh region - 4

Osh City - 6

By today, total of 216 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.  

The number of fatal cases is 7.

 

The number of tests performed since 5.02.2020 -35 072                                    

The number of tests performed during the day - 1 756                                                  

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients -is 8367 [number of contacts may change subject to epidemiological investigations’ results]

  • Other contacts (II category) - 6 447         

 714 people are under observation in Kyrgyzstan.
