Epidemiological Situation with COVID -19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 5

On May 5, 2020, 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases  were registered in the republic, 7 in women and 6 in men:

Bishkek City- cases,  

Naryn region - cases.  

By today, total of 843 confirmed COVID-19 cases are registered in Kyrgyzstan; Of the registered positive cases – 450 in women and 393 in men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 123,   

Osh Region - 169

Osh City - 113, 

Chui region - 72

Bishkek City – 239, 

Batken Region - 14, 

Naryn region - 103, 

Issyk-Kul region - 10.

Today 1 COVID-19 case was registered in the health worker in Naryn region

The total number of health workers, diagnosed with COVID-19 is 217 casesof whom 150 were discharged from hospitals with recovery. 

     

Today 25 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals with negative test results:

Bishkek City- 2, 

Naryn region - 2,

Osh City- 18

Osh region – 3.  

By today total, 600 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.         

During the day 69 year old COVID-19 patient died in Bishkek City; besides COVID-19 (bilateral pneumonia, 3 degree acute respiratory failure, brain edema (the patient suffered from diabetes, insulin dependent)). 

Total number of Coronavirus infection associated deaths in the KR is 11 people.       

 

Total number of samples received for testing (since 05.02.2020) - 59,176

Total tests performed (since 5.02.2020) - 58 030    

Total number of tests performed in the last 24 hours - 2 370 

 

The number of contacts with laboratory Covid-19 confirmed patients is 3 755 [number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

917 people are in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan
