Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of 19 April

As of April 19, 2020, 48 new COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered in the republic. Among new cases - 31 are women, 17 are men:

Osh region - 7

Osh City - 9,  

Naryn region - 11 

Chui region - 2

Jalal-Abad region - 9, 

Batken region - 1, 

Bishkek City - 9 cases.    

The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Kyrgyzstan is of 554

 Jalal-Abad region - 102,  

 Osh region - 147

Osh City - 83, 

Chui region - 30

Bishkek City - 111, 

Batken region - 6, 

Naryn region - 67, 

Issyk-Kul region - 8. 

Of the registered positive cases - 301 are women, 253 – are men.

18 COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered among health workers during the day:

in Jalal-Abad region,

1 in Batken region, 

2 in Osh region, 

3 in Osh City, 

4 in Naryn region, and 

4 in Bishkek City.

The total number of healthcare providers diagnosed with COVID 19 is 134.                  

 

 

As of now, 416 patients are managed at hospitals, 16 of them are in serious condition, including 9 in intensive care units. The condition of the remaining patients is assessed as moderately severe and satisfactory. 

During the daypatients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals with negative Covid-19 test results:

In total, 133 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.      

The total number of fatal cases is 5.
