Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of April 13

As of April 13, 2020, 42 new COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered in the republic. Of these, 23 in women and 19 in men:
Bishkek City - 10
Chui Region - 6
Osh Region - 9
Osh City - 5
Jalal-Abad City - 2

Batken -1
Naryn Region - 9

As of today, total of 419 cases of Coronavirus infection were registered in Kyrgyzstan: 

Jalal-Abad Region - 91,
Osh Region - 128,
Osh City- 59,
Chui Region - 27,
Bishkek City - 69,
Batken Region - 5,
Naryn Region - 34,
Issyk-Kul Region - 6.

347 COVID-19 positive patients are managed in hospitals,
11 people are in serious condition, 6 of them are in ICU.

Of the registered positive cases - 224 are women and 195 – men:

  1. Children under the age of 15 - 39
  2. Of these, under 1- 3
  3. 16 - 19 - 12
  4. 20- 35 - 105
  5. 35- 55 - 157
  6. 55 and older - 106


For the day 16 health workers were tested COVID-19 positive, including 9 in Bishkek, 4 in Osh Region, 2 in Osh City and 1 in Batken region. 

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID 19 – is 79.

For the day total of 13 patients with the previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged in Jalal-Abad Region (Nookat Territorial Hospital) after they tested negative upon discharge.  

As of today, total of 67 patients were discharged after recovery throughout the country.  

The total number of deaths - 5. 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed with Covid-19 patients is 6899 (the number of contacts may vary subject to epidemiological investigations’ results):

  Close contacts (I category) - 1 359

  Other contacts (II category) - 5 540

947 people are under being followed up in observation facilities throughout Kyrgyzstan.

The total number of samples received for testing (since 5.02.2020) - 25654 

The number of tests performed - 24 901 

The number of tests performed for the day – 753.
