Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of April 24

On April 24,  25 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 14 in women and  11 – in men:   

Osh region - cases,  

Osh City - cases,  

Naryn region - cases,   

Chuy region - cases,  

Bishkek City - 6 cases.    

                        

By today total of 656 confirmed cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan: 

Jalal- Abad region - 109,  

Osh region - 157

Osh City - 104, 

Chuy region - 42 

Bishkek City- 147 

Batken region - 6, 

Naryn region - 83, 

Issyk-Kul region - 8. 

 

Of the registered COVID-19 positive cases - 354 are women, 302 are - men.

Today, 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in health workers:  

Naryn region - 6,  

Osh region - 2, 

Osh City - 1, 

Bishkek - 1. 

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 172.    

 

Currently, 326 people are managed in hospitals of the republic, of which 12 are in serious condition, five of them are in intensive care units. The remaining patients are in moderate or satisfactory condition.

20 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals in the republic during the day, all with negative tests results upon discharge:  

Bishkek City (RCIDH) - 4

Osh (OIRMCH-4, OCCH -4) - 8

Jalal-Abad region (Suzak TH-8) – 8.    

By today total of 322 patients were discharged from hospitals as recovered throughout the country.  

Number of lethal outcome - 8 

Number of samples received for testing – 44 281 (total since 5.02.20)

Number of tests performed – 43 784 (total)  

Number of tests performed today – 3 925 

 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients is 2 548 [the number of contacts may vary subject to epidemiological investigations’ results]  

 

914 people are staying in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
