Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of April 26

On April 26, 2020, 17 new COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered in the republic. Among new cases - are registered in women, 10 – in men:        

 

Osh region - cases,  

Osh City - 1 case,  

Jalal-Abad region - 2 cases,  

Chui region - case,  

Bishkek City- 7 cases,  

Naryn region - 2 cases,  

Batken region - cases.  

    

By today, total of 682 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the KR. Of the registered positive cases – 367 are women and 315 – men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 111,  

Osh region - 159

Osh City - 109, 

Chui region - 44

Bishkek City - 158, 

Batken region - 2, 

Naryn region - 85, 

Issyk-Kul region - 8.

Today,confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered among medical personnel:

3 - in Bishkek, 

in Jalal-Abad region,

in Naryn region

By today, the total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID- 19 is 180 cases.            

                         

As of today, total of 304 COVID-19 patients are treated in hospitals of the republic, 13 are in serious condition, 6 of them are in intensive care units. 21 patients are in moderate condition and 270 - in satisfactory.

Today 25 patients with a previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals across the country with negative test results:

Bishkek - 10,

Osh region - 1

Osh City- 2

Jalal-Abad - 6,

Naryn region - 6

By today total of 370 patients were discharged from hospitals with recovery throughout the country.          

 

No of COVID-19 associated deaths - 8.

 

 

Total number of samples received for testing (since 5.02.2020) – 45 773 

Number of tests performed (since 5.02.2020) - 45 627          

                                 

The number of contacts with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 patients is  2 706 [number of contacts may vary subject to epidemiological investigations’ results].    

 1183 people are in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
