Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of April 28

On April 28, 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 8 in women and 5 in men:         

Jalal-Abad region - 2 cases,

Chui region - cases,  

Bishkek City- cases ,  

Naryn region - 2 cases.

By today, 708 confirmed COVID 19 cases have been reported in Kyrgyzstan, 381 in women, 327 in men:   

Jalal-Abad region - 113,   

Osh Region - 160 

Osh City - 110, 

Chui region - 52 

Bishkek City- 167, 

Batken Region - 8, 

Naryn region - 88, 

Issyk-Kul region - 10. 

 

Today,more COVID-19 cases were registered in medical personnel in Naryn region

By today, the total number of COVID-19 positive health workers makes 185 cases.       

Total of 284 people are being treated in hospitals of the republic, 12 of them are in serious condition, including 6 in intensive care units. The condition of 55 patients is moderate; the remaining 217 patients are in satisfactory condition.

Today, 21 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals with negative tests results upon discharge:  

Bishkek City- 3

Osh region - 1,  

Osh city - 2

Jalal-Abad region - 9

Naryn region - 1

Issyk-Kul region - 

Batken region - 1.

Total of 416 patients were discharged from hospitals as recovered based on the test results throughout the country.  

Number of COVID-19 associated deaths – is 8.

Total number of samples received for testing (since 5.02.2020) – is

49 484 

Total number of tests performed (since 5.02.2020) – is 49 484   

Number of tests performed today- is 1 283    

The number of contacts with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 patients – is 2 915 [number of contacts may vary subject to epidemiological investigations’ results]    

1 012 people are currently staying in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
