On June 8, 2020, 25 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 16 in women and 9 in men: Bishkek City- 18 cases, Chui region - 7 cases. By today, total of 2032 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan. Of the reported positive cases - 1 045 are women and 987 - men: Jalal-Abad region - 166, Osh region - 236, Osh City - 232, Chui region - 161, Bishkek City - 549, Batken region - 32, Naryn region - 398, Issyk-Kul region - 18, among the people, who arrived from Sol-Iletsk - 119, among the servicemen from the RF - 100, among the people, who arrived from the RF - 21.
Distribution of registered COVID-19 cases by age:
5 new COVID-19 cases were registered among health workers today: Bishkek City - 4, Chui region - 1. The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 400 cases, of which 7 were discharged from hospitals with recovery today. In total, 282 health workers were discharged with recovery in the republic.
Currently, 564 people with previously confirmed COVID – 19 are being managed in hospitals of the republic, 13 are in serious condition, including 3 in intensive care units; 88 patients are in moderate condition and 463 in satisfactory. Over the past day, 20 patients with previous diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals in the republic with negative test results: Bishkek City- 17, Naryn region - 2, Jalal-Abad region - 1. Total of 1 445 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country by now. In a day in hospitals 1 patient died of coronavirus infection. 1 patient (67 years old woman) died today in the Naryn Regional Merged Hospital. The total number of COVID-19 associated deaths in the republic amounted to 23 cases.
