Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 1

On May 1, 2020, 10 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, in women and in men:         

Osh region - cases,  

Bishkek City - cases,  

Batken region - case,   

Naryn oblast - 1 case.

By today, total of 756 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan; of the registered positive cases - 406 are women, 350 –are  men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 114,   

Osh region - 166

Osh City - 111, 

Chui region - 61 

Bishkek City – 188, 

Batken region - 10, 

Naryn region - 96, 

Issyk-Kul region - 10. 

 

Today 3 more COVID-19 cases were registered in health workers:

Bishkek - 2

Naryn region - 1. 

The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed health care workers in KR is 198, including 114 discharged from hospitals with recovery.

During the day 42 patients previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals with negative test results:

Bishkek City- 8,

Osh region - 9

Osh City- 10,

Jalalabad region - 3,

Naryn region - 11,

Issyk-Kul region – 1.

By today total of 504 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.             

 

Total number of samples received for testing (since 05.02.2020) – 53 140

Total number of tests performed (since 5.02.2020) – 52 748                         

The number of contacts with laboratory Covid-19 confirmed patients is 3 139 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

 

874 people are being monitored in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
