Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 12, 2020

As of May 12, 2020, 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 16 in women and 5 in men:   

Bishkek City- 10 cases,  

Jalal-Abad region - cases,  

Naryn region - cases,  

Chui region - case.   

Total of 1037 confirmed COVID-19 cases are registered in Kyrgyzstan by today. Of the registered positive cases - 540 are registered in women, 497 – in men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 147,   

Osh region - 180

Osh City - 113, 

Chui region - 87 (including 56 from Sol-Iletsk city)

Bishkek City- 282, 

Batken region - 24, 

Naryn region - 136, 

Issyk-Kul region - 12.

6 COVID -19 cases were registered today in health workers in Naryn region, health workers were discharged from hospitals of the republic

The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed health workers is 241 casesof whom 186 were discharged from hospitals with recovery.                   

 

Currently 316 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis are being managed in hospitals of the republic, of which 7 are in serious condition, including 4 in intensive care units, 75 in moderate condition and 234 people in satisfactory condition. 

Today 21 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the republic with negative test results:

Bishkek City- 12,

Osh City- 3,

Osh region – 3,

Naryn region - 2,

Jalal-Abad region- 1.

By today, total of 709 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.          

COVID-19 associated deaths - 12.

Number of tests conducted in the past day - 1 621                   

 The number of contacts with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 patients is 4 594 [number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

1 109 people are being monitored in observation facilities in Kyrgyzstan.
