Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 16, 2020

On May 16, 2020, 6 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 2 in women and 4 in men:          

Bishkek City- cases,   

Osh City- case,  

Osh region - case,  

Batken region - case.  

 

The total of 1117 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan by today. Of the registered positive cases, 583 were registered in women, 534 – in men:  

Osh region - 183

Jalal-Abad region - 153,  

Bishkek City- 305, 

Osh City - 119, 

Naryn region - 163, 

Chui region - 98, including 58 from the city of Sol-Iletsk (RF)    

Issyk-Kul region - 13, 

Batken region - 25.

No COVID-19 cases were registered in health workers today, health workers were discharged from hospitals in the republic

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 248 casesof which 200 were discharged from hospitals. 

320 patients with previously confirmed Covid-19 diagnosis are being treated in hospitals of the republic, of which 6 are in serious condition, including 4 in intensive care units. 66 people are in moderate condition and 248 in satisfactory.

Today 38 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals with negative test results:

Bishkek City- 31,

Jalal-Abad region- 5, 

Naryn region - 2

By today 783 patients were discharged from hospitals with recovery throughout the country.

 

The number of COVID-19 associated deaths - is 14.

Total number of tests performed in the last day – 3 334                  

 

The number of contacts with laboratory Covid-19 confirmed patients is 5 228 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

2146 people are staying in observation facility of Kyrgyzstan.
