Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 17, 2020

As of May 17, 2020, 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic; in women and 13 in men:

Bishkek City- cases,  

Chui region - cases,  

Naryn region - cases,  

In the travelers from St. Petersburg (RF) - 10 cases.  

 

Total of 1138 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan so farOf the registered positive cases: 591 women and 547 – men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 153,   

Osh region - 183

Osh City - 119, 

Chui region - 101 + (travelers from Sol-Iletsk City - 58), 

Bishkek City- 307 + (travelers from St. Petersburg - 10), 

Batken region - 25, 

Naryn region - 169, 

Issyk-Kul region - 13.

COVID-19 case were registered  today in health workers per:

Chui region - cases,

Naryn region- case.

And 4 health workers were  discharged from hospital of the republic

The total number of health workers with COVID-19 diagnosis is 251 casesof which 204 were discharged from hospitals with recovery.

320 patients with confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis are being treated in hospitals of the republic. Of these, 12 patients are in serious condition, including 6 in intensive care units. 60 people are in moderate condition, 248 – in satisfactory.

21 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the republic today negative tests results: 

Bishkek City- 11

Osh City- 2, 

Osh region - 2, 

Naryn region - 3, 

Batken region - 3. 

By today, the total of 804 patients was discharged with recovery throughout the country.  

The number of COVID-19 associated deaths - is 14.

Number of tests performed in the last day - 2 362 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients is 5 307 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

2184 people are being supervised in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
