Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 19,2020

As of May 19 , 2020, 27 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 12 in women and 15 in men:     

Bishkek City- cases,  

Naryn region - 11 cases,  

Osh region - cases;  

In the arrived from St. Petersburg (RF) - case,  

In the arrived from Sol-Iletsk (Russian Federation) - cases. 

Total of 1243 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan Of the registered positive cases - 633 are women and 610 - men:   

Jalal- Abad region - 154,   

Osh region - 195

Osh City - 124, 

Chui region - 104 + (Sol-Iletsk - 104), 

Bishkek - 316 + (St. Petersburg - 14), 

Batken Oblast - 25, 

Naryn region - 194, 

Issyk-Kul region - 13.

2 COVID-19 cases were registered in health workers today:

  • in Bishkek City,

case - in Naryn region.

6 health workers were discharged from hospital of the republic today. The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 257 casesof which 218 were discharged from hospitals with recovery.           

331 people with confirmed COVID – 19 diagnosis are being managed in hospitals of the republic now; of which 12 are in serious condition, including 5 in intensive care  units; 50 in moderate condition and 269 in satisfactory.

Today 71 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the republic with negative test results:   

Bishkek City- 55

Jalal- Abad region - 11, 

Naryn region - 2, 

Batken region - 3. 

In total, 898 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.  

COVID-19 associated deaths - 14.

Number of tests performed in the last day - 2 211                  

 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients is 6164 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

2 153 people are being monitored in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
