Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 20,2020

As of May 20, 2020, 27 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 17 in women and 10 in men: 

Bishkek City- cases,  

Naryn region - 19 cases,  

Osh region - cases,  

Issyk-Kul region - case,  

Chui region - case  

 

In Kyrgyzstan, total of 1270 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered. Of the registered positive cases - 650 are registered in women, 620 – in men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 154,    

Osh region - 197

Osh City - 124, 

Chui  region - 105 + (Sol-Iletsk - 104), 

Bishkek City- 320 + (St. Petersburg - 14), 

Batken region - 25, 

Naryn region - 213, 

Issyk-Kul region - 14.

COVID-19 cases were detected among health workers in Naryn region today.

3 health workers were discharged from hospitals of the republic

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 266 casesof which 221 were discharged from hospitals with recovery.       

 

Currently 346 people with COVID–19 confirmed diagnosis are being managed in hospitals of the republic, of which 12 are in serious condition, including 5 in intensive care units; 48 patients are in moderate condition and 286 in satisfactory.

12 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the republic with negative tests results:

Bishkek - 8

Naryn region - 4. By today total of 910 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.      

COVID-19 associated deaths - 14.

Number of test performed in the last day - 1 946                  

 

The number of contacts with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 patients is – 6 280 [number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

2 175 people are staying in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
