Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 21, 2020

As of May 21, 2020, 43 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic; 22 in women and 21 in men.         

Bishkek City- 22 cases,  

Chui region - case,  

Naryn region - cases,  

Osh region - cases,  

Osh City - cases,  

Batken region - cases,  

St. Petersburg - 1.  

By today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases, registered in the KR is 1313. Of the registered positive cases - 672 are women and 641 – men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 154,   

Osh region - 201

Osh City - 129, 

Chui region - 106, 

Bishkek City - 342, 

Batken region - 27, 

Naryn region - 221, 

Issyk-Kul region - 14,  

among people, arrived from Sol-Iletsk - 104, 

among people, arrived from St. Petersburg - 15.

new cases of COVID-19 were detected among health workers in in Bishkek City. 2 health workers were discharged from hospital with recovery. 

The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed health workers is the KR is 270 casesof which 223 were discharged from hospitals with recovery.             

Currently, 370 people with COVID-19 confirmed diagnosis are being managed in hospitals of the republic, of which 12 are in serious condition, including 5 in intensive care units; 51 are in moderate condition and 307 people - in satisfactory.

19 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged today from hospitals of the republic with negative tests results:  

Bishkek City- 8

Osh region - 5

Jalal-Abad region - 4

Batken region - 2

By today total of 929 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.  

COVID-14 associated deaths - 14.

Number of tests performed in the last day - 1 894                  

The number of contacts with laboratory confirmed patients covid-19 - 6435 [number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

There are 1902 people in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
