Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 22,2020

As of May 22, 2020, 37 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 13 in women and 24 in men: 

Bishkek - cases,  

Naryn region - 21 cases,  

Osh region - cases,  

Among the people, who arrived from St. Petersburg (RF) - 3, 

Among the people, who arrived from  Sol- Iletsk (RF) - case.  

By now, total of 1350 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan. Of the registered positive cases -685 were in women and 665 in men:  

Jalal- Abad region - 155,   

Osh region - 203

Osh City - 132, 

Chui region - 108, 

Bishkek City - 348, 

Batken region - 25, 

Naryn region - 242, 

Issyk-Kul region - 14,  

in the people, arrived from the city ​​of Sol-Iletsk - 105, 

in the  people, arrived from St. Petersburg - 18.

new COVID-19 cases were registered today among health medical workers:

Bishkek City- 2,

Naryn City- 1. 

One heath worker was discharged from hospital. 

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 273 casesof which 224 were discharged from hospitals with recovery. 

387 people with previously COVID – 19 confirmed diagnosis are being managed in hospitals of the republic, of which 11 are in serious condition, including 4 in intensive care unit; 48 are in moderate condition and 328 - in satisfactory.

20 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the republic in the last day:

Bishkek City- 9,

Naryn region - 7

Jalal –Abad region - 2

Batken region - 

Issyk-Kul region - 1. 

 

949 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country with negative test results by now.  

The number COVID-19 associated deaths - 14.

Number of tests performed in the last day - 2 207. 

 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients is 6 600 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

2 150 people are staying in observation facility in Kyrgyzstan.
