Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 23,2020

As of May 23, 2020, 15 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic;  3 in women and 12 in men:

Bishkek City- cases,  

Chui region - case,  

Osh region - case,  

Jalal-Abad region - case,  

People, who arrived from St. Petersburg (RF) - cases.   

Total of 1365 COVID-19 cases were confirmed by today in Kyrgyzstan.   Of the registered positive cases - 688 in women, and 677 – in men. Among new cases - women, 12 men.         

Jalal-Abad region - 156,   

Osh region - 204

Osh City - 132, 

Chui region - 109, 

Bishkek City- 351, 

Batken region - 25, 

Naryn region - 242, 

Issyk-Kul region - 14,  

among the inbounds from Sol-Iletsk - 105, 

  • from St. Petersburg - 27. 

 

No new COVID-19 cases of were registered in health workers today. The total number of COVID-19 contracted health workers is 273 casesof which 226 were discharged from hospitals with recovery.             

Distribution of registered COVID-19 cases by age:

  1. Children under 15 years old - 184
  2. Of which under 1 - 14
  3. 16 – 19 yrs - 43
  4. 20 - 35 yrs - 489
  5. 35 – 55 yrs - 436
  6. 55+ - 213

394 people with confirmed COVID – 19 diagnosis are staying in hospitals of the republic, of which 11 are in serious condition, including 4 in intensive care unit; 63 in moderate condition and 320 - in satisfactory.

 

patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged today from hospitals of the republic with negative test results:

Bishkek - 4,

Naryn region - 2,

Jalal-Abad - 1,

Osh region - 1. 

In total, 957 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.          

The number of COVID-19 associated deaths - 14.

Number of tests performed in the last day – 2 245.  

 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Ccovid-19 patients is 6 632 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

2 090 people are being monitored in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
