Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 3, 2020

On May 3, 2020, 26 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 16 in women and 10 in men:   

Osh region - cases,  

Batken region - case,  

Chui region – 9, 

Bishkek City - 14 cases.  

By today, total of 795 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the KR, of the registered positive cases - 426 are women and 369 – men:

Jalal-Abad region - 118,   

Osh region - 169

Osh City - 113, 

Chui region - 70 

Bishkek – 205, 

Batken region - 13, 

Naryn region - 97, 

Issyk-Kul region - 10.

Today 7 COVID-19 cases were registered in health workers:

Bishkek City -5,

Chui region - 2. 

By today, the total number of health workers, diagnosed with COVID-19 is 207 cases, 139 of them were discharged from hospitals with recovery:              

 

Currently, 221 people are treated for COVID-19 in hospitals of the republic, 11 of them are in serious condition, including 4 in intensive care units; 42 patients are in moderate condition and 168 in satisfactory.

Today 37 patients with previously COVID-19 confirmed diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the republic with negative tests results:  

Bishkek City- 21

Osh region - 1, 

Osh City- 6

Jalal-Abad region - 1

Naryn region - 6

Batken region- 2

By today, total of 564 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.  

The number of COVID-19 associated death cases - 10.

Total number of samples received for testing (since 05.02.2020) - 55 800

Total number of tests performed (since 5.02.2020) – 

55 620                             

 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients is 3 349 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations].   

 

741 people are being monitored in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
