Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 4

On May 4, 2020, 35 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 17 in women and in 18 men:            

Bishkek City - 26 cases,  

Jalal-Abad region - cases,  

Chui region - cases,   

Batken region - case,  

Naryn region - case.   

 

By today, total of 830 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the KR. Of the registered positive cases - 443 in women and 387 in men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 123,   

Osh region - 169

Osh City - 113, 

Chui region - 72

Bishkek City - 231, 

Batken region - 14, 

Naryn region - 98, 

Issyk-Kul region - 10.

Today COVID-19 cases were confirmed in health workers:

6 - in Bishkek City,

2 - in Jalal-Abad region and 

1 - in Naryn region

As of today, the total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID- 19 is 216.            

       

Currently, there are 245 patients with coronavirus treated in hospitals of the republic, 13 of them in serious condition, including 6 in intensive care units. 47 are in moderate condition and 185 in satisfactory. 

Today 11 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the KR with negative test results:

Bishkek - 7,

Naryn – 4. 

The total number of patients discharged as recovered across the country if 575     

Number of COVID-19 associated deaths - 10.

Total number of samples received for testing (since 05.02.2020) - 57 109

Total number of tests performed (since 5.02.2020) - 56,488                         

 

The number of contacts with laboratory Covid-19 confirmed patients is 3 545 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

908 people are managed in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
