As of May 6, 2020, 28 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic, 15 in women and 13 in men:
Bishkek City- 16 cases,
Jalal-Abad region - 6 cases,
Batken region - 4 cases,
Chui region - 2 cases.
By today, total of 871 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the KR. Of the registered positive cases – in 465 women and 406 - in men:

Today, 14 patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals:
Bishkek City - 5,
Naryn region - 3,
Issyk-Kul region - 1,
Jalal-Abad region - 5.
By today, total of 614 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.
67 years old woman died today in Bishkek of severe form of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19). She has developed the following complications: bilateral pneumonia, multiple organ failure syndrome, cerebral edema. Concomitant diseases: cirrhosis of the liver with portal hypertension, exudative pleurisy.
In total, 12 people died in Kyrgyzstan of COVID-19 associated reasons.
