Epidemiological Situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan as of May 9

On May 9, 2020, 25 new COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered in the republic, 16 in women and 9 in men:         

Bishkek City - cases,  

Jalal-Abad region- cases,  

Chui region - cases,  

Osh region - cases,  

Batken region - case,  

Naryn region - 11 cases.  

 

The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the KR is 931. Of the registered positive cases, 499 are registered in women, 432 in men:  

Jalal-Abad region - 139,   

Osh region - 175

Osh City - 113, 

Chui region - 85

Bishkek City- 264, 

Batken region - 19, 

Naryn region - 126, 

Issyk-Kul region - 10.

Today COVID-19 cases were confirmed in health workers:

1 in Bishkek, 

in Jalal-Abad region, and 

3 in Naryn region

The total number of health workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 231 casesof whom 166  were discharged from hospitals with recovery.                  

       

261 people with COVID-19 confirmed diagnosis are currently being treated in hospitals of the republic, of which 12 are in serious condition, including 6 in intensive care units, 74 in moderate condition and 175 in satisfactory condition.

Today patients with previously confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis were discharged from hospitals of the country with negative tests results:

Bishkek City- 7,

Naryn region - 1

By today, total of 658 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country.      

 

Number of COVID-19 associated deaths - 12.

     

Number of tests performed in the last day - 1 462                        

 

The number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients is 4 214 [the number of contacts may vary subject to the results of epidemiological investigations]   

 

1197 people are being monitored in observation facilities of Kyrgyzstan.
