On April 4, 2020, 14 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic:
Bishkek - 1;
Osh region – 7 and
Jalal-Abad region – 6.
Of the newly confirmed cases:
5 - are imported, 9 – were transmitted through contacts with COVID-19 patients.
Total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the republic is 144:
Bishkek - 15
Osh City - 12
Osh region - 35
Batken region - 3
Jalal-Abad region - 67
Chui region - 6
Issyk-Kul region - 2
Naryn region - 4
Of the registered positive cases: 77 - women, 67 - men.
Age distribution:
- Children under 15 years of age -13
- Of these, children under one- 2
- 16- 19 – 6 cases
- 20- 35 – 42 cases
- 35- 55 - 47
- 55 and older – 36 cases.
“Unfortunately, health workers were also infected, so there were 8 of them yesterday, today one more health worker was tested positive, totaling nine altogether. They are all carriers of the coronavirus”, said Kasymbek Mambetov, Deputy Head of the MOH Operational Stab.
Of the 9 cases of COVID-19 cases among health workers: 7 are in Jalal-Abad region, 1 in Bishkek, and 1 in Osh.
Total of 6 patients, infected with coronavirus, are in intensive care unit:
1. 59-year-old man in Nookat in serious condition;
2. 45-year-old man in Osh is in critical condition, on mechanical ventilation;
3. 63-year-old woman in Osh in serious condition;
4. 60 year-old woman in Osh in serious condition;
5. 33 year-old man in Jalal-Abad – is stabilized;
6. 60 year-old woman in Naryn in serious condition.
By today, total 10157 tests were performed in the country;
Including 321 performed today.
The total number of people under observation - 1666.
By today, total of 9 patients with Coronavirus diagnosis have been discharged from hospitals as recovered. Their condition is assessed as satisfactory, repeated PCR test indicated negative result.
