Situation with Coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan as of March 30

As of March 30, 2020, 10 new COVID-19 confirmed cases were registered in the republic. 

All 10 cases were detected in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region.
Total of 94 cases were confirmed in Kyrgyzstan, including:

50 - in Jalal-Abad region,

24 - in Osh region,

3 - in Chui region,

1 - in Batken region,

8 - in the city of Osh,

7 - in the city of Bishkek, and

1 - in Naryn region.

The age distribution of cases:
children under 15 years old - , of which 2 are under the age of 1

16 - 19 years - 4

20 -35 years - 29

35- 55 - 23

over 55 - 29

Women-53 cases,

Men-41 cases.  
 
 The number of COVID-19 contacts is 7307 people, including 2085 close and family contacts, and 5222 other contacts.

1459 people are placed under observation now.

Laboratory tests are performed by 9 viral laboratories with 13 PCR machines.
Rapid laboratory tests were provided for 5380 people, of which 45 were positive, PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests were performed for 13682 people, 94 were positive, the rest were negative.

“We urge citizens to stay home and not go out without urgent need, as practice has shown, one sick person automatically exposes three closest family members to coronavirus infection,” said Minister of Health K. Cholponbaev.
