Situation with Coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan as of March 31

As of March 31, 2020, 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic

Bishkek - 1 

Naryn oblast - 3 

Issyk-Kul oblast - 2 

Chui oblast - 1 

Osh oblast - 5 

Jalal-Abad oblast – 1.

There are total of 107 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the republic, 58 women and 49 men. 

Age distribution:

Of 107 - 11 are children, including two under one year of age and

31 elderly people.   

Three patients are in intensive care units. Two are in a moderate condition, one is on mechanical ventilation.

Currently, 1592 people are under observation.
In total, 5638 people were under observation, 3870 have been discharged to home-based follow up.

The number of contacts with COVID laboratory-confirmed patients is - 5771 (this number is subject to the epidemiological investigations’ findings) including: 

1561  close and family contacts.  

 
Over the past 2 days, 23 (10 + 13) cases have been detected, of which 4 cases are imported cases. The remaining 19 people are contacts of the people, who came from abroad.
Among 19 locally transmitted cases, 4 children are under 14 years of age. 15 cases occurred in 5 family outbreaks.
