Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for May 5th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 248 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 151 patients, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 59, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 4.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 90,394 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 5th, 2021, a total of 397 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 210, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 130, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 19, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 4.

Overall, 96,958 cases were registered during the entire period, including 52,889 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,069 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,016 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,563 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,378 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 880, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 443, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 47, Issyk-Kul province – 95, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 9. Out of the 1,563 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 5 people (0.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,091 patients (69.8%) are in moderately severe condition, 397 (25.3%) in severe and 70 (4.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,645, Osh city – 39, Chuy province – 475, Osh province – 38, Talas province – 29, Naryn province – 15, Issyk-Kul province – 103, Jalal-Abad province – 27, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Seven (7) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 2) and 4 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 2, Osh city – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,637 cases, including 545 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,092 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Eleven (11) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone. Six (6) cases were registered in Bishkek city, 4 in Chuy province, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,468. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care and 7 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,391 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
