Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 161 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 118 patients, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 21, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 86 313 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 14th, 2021, a total of 240 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 133, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 85, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 90 839 cases were registered during the entire period, including 47 905 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 934 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5 495 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 968 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1058 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 503, Osh city – 34, Chuy province – 314, Osh province – 19, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 48, Jalal-Abad province – 15, Batken province – 7. Out of the 968 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 25 people (2.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 675 patients (69.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 228 (23.6%) in severe and 40 (4.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 827, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 167, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 37, Jalal-Abad province – 13, Batken province – 3.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1534 cases, including 488 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1046 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Fifteen (15) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 8 cases (1 in the red zone) in Bishkek city, 4 in Chuy province, 3 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4326. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4247 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
