Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 178 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 109 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 55, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 86 491 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 15th, 2021, a total of 305 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 186, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 89, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 91 144 cases were registered during the entire period, including 48 164 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 980 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4986  PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1010 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1139 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 532, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 318, Osh province – 20, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 14, Issyk-Kul province – 58, Jalal-Abad province – 15, Batken province – 7. Out of the 1010 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 27 people (2.6%) is categorized as satisfactory, 685 patients (67.8%) are in moderately severe condition, 263 (26%) in severe and 35 (3.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 871, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 197, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 32, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

Six (6) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 1, Chuy province – 2) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1540 cases, including 491 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1049 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Twelve (12) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 9 in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province, 1 in Osh city, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4338. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4251 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
