Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 130 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 87 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 31, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 86 621 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 16th, 2021, a total of 230 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 131, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 70, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 91 374 cases were registered during the entire period, including 48 351 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43 023 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 394 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1070 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1173 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 550, Osh city – 39, Chuy province – 341, Osh province – 20, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 60, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 15. Out of the 1070 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 30 people (2.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 757 patients (70.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 248 (23.1%) in severe and 35 (3.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 886, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 211, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 37, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 2.

Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1544 cases, including 493 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1051 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4341. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4258 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
