Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 134 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 98 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 23, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 5.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 86 907 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 18th, 2021, a total of 244 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 158, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 54, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 16, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 91 883 cases were registered during the entire period, including 48 790 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43 093 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5 582 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1227 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1229 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 636, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 391, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 29, Issyk-Kul province – 62, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 11. Out of the 1227 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 30 people (2.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 830 patients (67.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 319 (25.9%) in severe and 48 (3.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 904, Osh city – 10, Chuy province – 226, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 48, Jalal-Abad province – 15, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Issyk-Kul province) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1549 cases, including 496 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1053 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 cases in Bishkek city, 1 case in Osh province, 1 case in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4354. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4269 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
